After a nearly 15 year relationship with a personal practice I began teaching to others. The practice has limitless possibilities. Make space to feel more, feel better and connect. I am privileged to be a part of your journey.
My initial relationship with yoga was mostly physical. I found myself concerned with correct placement, alignment and generally just "doing it right". My practice transformed when messaging began to land and the physical became a way to connect to emotions and spirituality. By finding union in breath and movement, I honor this practice and myself. It is humbling to bring yoga to others.
CHILDREN & FAMILY CLASSES
OUTDOOR & SPECIAL EVENTS
Join me Hope Yoga Studio, in Fairview Park, and Village Yogaworks, in Bay Village. I am honored to be a part of these beautiful teams and wonderful studios. Check out my weekly schedule below.
Sundays, 11:30am, Hope Yoga
Prenatal yoga helps moms find a deeper connection to their body, breath and baby. This vinyasa flow prenatal class helps build strength, increase stamina, improve circulation, regulate breathing and create more mind and body awareness. You can expect to make space in your body and heart — ultimately preparing for delivery. Enjoy meeting other moms-to-be and fostering a sense of community through motherhood. We invite you to honor your body and recommend checking with your physician if there are any questions about practicing.
Sundays, 1 pm Hope Yoga
Offered the second Sunday of each month. This special class offers 45 minutes to practice as a family. Family yoga is child-centered (ages 5 and older) and meant to encourage time for families to connect, breathe and move. Using partner poses, dynamic and relaxing movement, storytelling, songs and creative play.
Tuesdays, 6:15pm, Hope Yoga
Flow classes focus on alignment, breathing, and mindfulness, inviting the body to move with increased awareness and ease. During this class we will incorporate several modifications to accommodate physical limitations or to make poses more challenging.
Wednesdays, 11:00am, Village Yogaworks
A slower-paced vinyasa flow class, with alignment emphasized. As the title suggests, all levels are welcome in a low-key, no-stress hour where you can work your own practice needs and engage something new as you wish. We think of it as a "breath/movement based flow." Prepare to leave happy and fulfilled and wanting this to be a regular part of your mindful movement routine.
ON AND OFF THE MAT
Yoga changes your state, which has a ripple effect, it changes your relationships too. Conscious breathing and asanas create a shift in your natural energy.
Focusing on the present moment can create relaxation and freedom from anxiety. When you live in the moment and create a greater awareness the benefits are limitless.
Yoga can heal. A healthy breathing practice and physical movement can lead to better sleep, lower anxiety, better stress management and pain reduction.
"To perform every action artfully is yoga.”
Yoga is one of the things in this world that lights me up. The practice, is just that, a practice. I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training from Inner Bliss Yoga Studio in 2018 as a way to deepen my practice and bring yoga to others. Every time I gets to teach, I am grateful for the opportunity to connect. I wants everyone to feel the healing power and space that can be found on the mat. As a graphic designer I especially enjoy the creative expression found in yoga.
I come back to the mat again and again because there is always something new to discover and always work to be done. As a teacher I love creating an experience for my students. I hold space to feel more.
As a mother of 3 active boys, I love practicing with them tools to manage big emotions, stretch growing limbs and work out extra wiggles. I have practiced yoga with all of my pregnancies and credit the practice with helping me to be a better mom. My classes are welcoming, creative and intuitive. I want to make each student feel seen and look forward to meeting students right where they are.
